Chip Bolcik

Chip played Barry Rosen in The Face In The ReedsFydor, the Juke Box Repairman in Sneaky Ole Time, Harold in Leaving Home, and Mayor Gayheart Pettibone Johnson in the musical Paradise at the Ruskin Group Theater (and recreated the role of the Mayor at Austin Playhouse).  Chip originated the role of Michael Collins in To The Moon at the Colony Theater in Burbank.  He created the role of Arthur in The Field Trip at the Cherry Lane in New York, and originated the character Larry Walters in Ferry Limbo at HERE in NYC.  He originated the role of Ted in Breaking Out Is Hard To Do at New York’s Hudson Guild Theatre.  He also played Wilmore (the Rover) in The Rover, Ferdinand in The Tempest, and Solanio in The Merchant Of Venice at Folger Shakespeare Theater, DC.  He played Rocco in Saturday, Sunday, Monday at The Huntington Theatre, Boston;  Jason Carmichael in Romantic Comedy, L. Bainbridge in Taking Steps, Boze Hertzlinger in Petrified Forest, Richard Henry Lee in 1776 and Andrew Eden in Whose Life Is It Anyway at Totem Pole Playhouse; Col. Joseph Ryan in The Advocate, Bo in A Hotel On Marvin Gardens at 12 Miles West, NJ; Herb Tucker in I Ought To Be In Pictures, Greg in Sylvia, and Les in Breakfast with Les And Bess, at Bickford Theater, NJ; and Lloyd Dallas in Noises Off at NJ Shakespeare Festival.
