John Hugo
John has been a member of Interact for several years now and has been grateful for the opportunities it has offered. John was a long-time member of Theatre East and Actors Alley and has performed in plays in Los Angeles for over 30 yrs.. Favorite roles would have to include Trigorin in The Seagull, Hamlet in Hamlet, Jack, the 14th Earl of Gurney in The Ruling Class, Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet, Edward in Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, Miller in Room Service, Pozdnyshev in The Kreutzer Sonata, Creon in Antigone, Treat in Orphans, and Lövborg in Hedda Gabler. A long-time student and protégé of Jack Colvin, Michael Chekhov's protégé, John has also taught Chekhov Technique for many years, alongside Mr. Colvin for the Michael Chekhov Studio, as well as the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, the SAG Hollywood Summer Conservatory, MICHA, and colleges in L.A.
