Dan Belzer


Dan Belzer enjoys a diverse career as an actor, singer, pianist and teacher. He portrays American songwriting legend Irving Berlin frequently throughout Los Angeles and regionally in the one-man show A Songwriting Lesson from Irving Berlin for Enrichment Works, and he recently portrayed Arnholm in Ibsen’s The Lady from the Sea with Collaborative Artists Ensemble. Dan has appeared in film and television, working with Academy Award winning directors John Carpenter and Dean Parisot and has toured Europe extensively on numerous occasions performing with The Singing Waiters. As a longtime member of the UCLA theater faculty he has music directed, accompanied and conducted many musicals including Carousel, Rent, Cabaret, Anything Goes, Bat Boy, Guys & Dolls and A Chorus Line. Dan is a North Dakota native who holds a BFA in theater from Drake University and a MA in theater from CSULA.
