ROBYN COHEN was a series regular on the Television hit Gravity for Starz network and That Guy for FOX. She's appeared on Law and Order True Crime, Cristela, N.C.I.S., The Defenders, Invasion, The Closer, Angel, The Strand, N.C.I.S. L.A., Starved, LAX, and in over 75 national commercials. Select Film credits: Wes Anderson's The Life Aquatic (opposite Bill Murray), The Celestine Prophecy, Beau Jest (starring Lainie Kazan), Road Hard (with Adam Carolla), and a trilogy of James Franco's films.
Onstage, Robyn starred in The Exonerated (opposite Jeff Goldblum), the West Coast premiere of Neil Labute's The Shape of Things (Laguna Playhouse), Scott Caan's No Way Around but Through (with Melanie Griffith), The Waitress under John Patrick Shanley, The Three Sisters (ITC), Death of a Salesman (ITC) and more. She's performed with The Actors Theatre of Louisville, Lincoln Center, The Ford's Theater (D.C.), The Delaware REP, Goodspeed Opera House, The Blank Theatre, Colony Theatre, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, North Coast Rep., Great Lakes Theatre/Cleveland's Classic Theater Co., Paper Mill Playhouse, Coachella Valley Rep., Sacramento Light Opera, Bucks County Playhouse, and in the National Tour of the Broadway musical, Cabaret.
Robyn earned her BFA from The Juilliard School, and has directed numerous theatrical productions in the U.S. and abroad including: A View From the Bridge, Fool for Love, The Elephant Man and Tape.
She founded THE COHEN ACTING STUDIO in Burbank, CA., and is a contributing writer to Jon Jory's handbook, "Tips on Auditioning: Ideas for Actors."
